News about MiT@UU

The organizing team (Karin van Es, Judith Keilbach, Nina Köll, Hanna Surma and Nanna Verhoeff) is happy to announce that the conference Media in Transition@UU (June 26 at Het Huis, Utrecht) will receive financial support from Co.Laborations, EYE, and Mediawijzer – Het Nederlands Netwerk voor Mediawijsheid. We are also excited that representatives from EYE and Mediawijzer will be joining us for round table discussions on topics such as ongoing radical transformations of media industries, participation and media literacy and ‘new’ methods and methodologies.

MiT@UU will consist of two days. We will kick off with a Research Day on Monday, June 25, where members and research partners of different MCW research groups will organize discussions and workshops (e.g. a data walk led by Joanna Redden from the Data Justice Lab, Cardiff University) for MCW staff and students.
